Patuxent High will celebrate Red Ribbon Week October 22nd - 26th.

Red Ribbon Week Activities

  • Remember to submit your art project for a chance to win a gift card
  • “Plant the Promise” − plant fifty red tulip bulbs
  • Sign the pledge − banner will be in the hall by the cafeteria
  • Daily theme days with a chance to win a ten dollar gift card each day
  • Daily trivia − first 10 people to come to guidance & answer correctly win a pair of ear buds

Daily Theme & Trivia

Each day of the week will be celebrated in the following way:

Monday, October 22nd — Maryland Day
Wear all your Maryland gear to unite against substance abuse.

Tuesday, October 23rd — Dress to impress! There is no place for drugs on your journey to success.

Wednesday, October 24th — Wear orange to represent the Pax family’s commitment to stop bullying.

Thursday, October 25th — Twin up with a partner to show your commitment to being drug free.

Friday, October 26th — School Spirit Day − let’s see who can show the most school spirit as we demonstrate our commitment to a drug free future.
